My name is Helen I am nurse navigator & geriatric wellness expert. My office is in Doral.
I serve a special segment of the population: the very very busy professionals, top level executives and retired people who use to hold important positions.
My type of client has one big problem and that I why I am posting here today.
Their problem is that their lives are full and busy and they don’t have enough time to care for their aging parents. For some of them, they have two generations in one home meaning that they try to help their parents but work pulls them away sometimes with short notice.
My role is to help them build a small team of 2-3 caregivers they can work closely with and trust to help them once or twice a week for shifts that are as short as 2 hours or as long as twelve or even twenty hours. .
I am looking for allied health and allied health and nursing students because having flexible work where you get paid the next business day can really come in handy.
Being a nurse navigator, I understand what it means to try to go to school and have to work. Students need flexible hours so they can earn while they learn.
